RM auction house is presenting their annual Automobiles of Arizona, two day auction at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa, January 20-21, 2011.

They will be auctioning a diverse selection of 160 automobiles, including a classic 1973 Ferrari 365 GTB/ 4 Dayton Spyder, offered by Baseball Hall of Famer, Mr. Reggie Jackson, estimated price: $900,000-$1,100,00. This rare Daytona Spyder boasts an impressive celebrity provenance and ownership with famous motorcycle daredevil, Evel Knievel, and well-known New York and Los Angeles DJ, Frankie Crocker, listed as previous owners.

Another exclusive car is the majestic 1929 Duesenberg model J Dual Cowl Paeton, driven by Elvis Presley in the movie Spinout, estimated price: $900,000-$1,200,000.

Car collectors of every suit will find authentic cars ranging from sports to classics, the best of American and European classics, to Detroit muscle and a series of wild customs and show cars. Also showing is the impressive series of automobiles from the private estate of noted Chicago collector, Bill Jacobs Jr.



RM’s 2011 Arizona auction embarks with the exclusive ‘The British Are Back’ on January 20th. Entries include a 1921 Rolls-Royce 40/50HP Silver Ghost Phaeton, estimate $350,000 – $475,000; a 1932 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Newmarket Sport Phaeton estimate $300,000 – $450,000; and a 1958 Aston Martin DB2 Mark III estimate $200,000 – $250,000.

It will be all about the Ferraris the following day, including a stunning fully certified 1966 Ferrari Superfast Series I, estimated $900,000-$1,100,000; a fully-restored 1950 Ferrari 166 Inter Berlinetta, estimated $400,000 – $600,000; and a well-known 1995 Ferrari F50 Show Car, estimated $600,000 – $800,000, the very first F50 built.
