What is Basearticles?

Basearticles.com is an article directory where authors can submit their articles for free and get much-needed exposure online. At the same time, we are an article directory that provides publishers a wide array of options when it comes to articles for publication in their newsletters or websites, for free.

Are authors required to pay registration or other fees?

As a free article directory, Basearticles.com offers its pages for free. Authors need not pay anything for submitting their articles to our article directory. However, you need to follow the Author Guidelines if you want your articles to appear in our pages.

Will the author’s name appear in subsequent publications of the articles?

Every article published in our article directory has a Resource Box at the end of the article. This contains the name of the author, link to his website and other details about him. Publishers are required to credit the authors for their work by including the Resource Box when republishing the articles. Our Terms of Use specifically provides that full credit should be accorded by publishers to the authors including the links originally found in the articles as published in our article directory.

Are publishers required to pay for articles they lift from the article directory?

No, publishers can choose from the various niches of articles from our article directory and publish them in their own websites, newsletters or ezines for free. However, please check our Publisher Guidelines and Terms of Use and strictly adhere to its provisions to be able to enjoy this privilege.

Are authors paid for articles published in the article directory?

We are a free article directory and we do not pay authors for any article published in our website or republished by the publishers.

How do you keep the article directory running without collecting fees from users?

Basearticles.com is able to keep this article directory running even if we do not charge the authors and publishers because our site runs advertisements which usually appear alongside the published articles. While the authors get full credit for their articles, they are not entitled to any revenues earned from our advertising.

Can we contact any of the authors on the article directory?

We are duty-bound to protect the privacy of the authors so we do not release any information as to their contact details. However, you can check out the Resource Box at the end of the article and see if the author has indicate his contact details or included a link to his website. The author’s bio also usually contains the contact details.

Can authors choose a specific category for their articles?

There are various categories in our article directory and authors can choose a category which is closely related to the article. However, Basearticles.com reserves the right to change the category for any article which we deem fit. You are also encouraged to choose only one category for your article as multiple submissions can lead to rejection of the article.

Can I expect my article to appear in the article directory after submission?

Every article submitted to us is reviewed within 48 hours after submission and only appear in our article directory once approved by our editors. We will send you an email notification or approval or rejection once we have reviewed your article.

What are the possible reasons for article rejections?

Our editors usually reject articles that violate the Author Guidelines or any provision in our Terms or Use. We value the quality of the articles published in our article directory so our editors usually disapprove articles with wrong grammar and spelling mistakes.

My articles are in your article directory but I have not submitted them. What are my remedies?

If you own exclusive copyright to any of the articles appearing in our article directory, then we encourage you to please contact us and give us the exact title of the article, a link to the article which was plagiarized, and a link to the site where your article appeared with your name on it.
